This review is still neutral because I am giving Yumz a chance to correct the situation. That being said, it does not look good.
***Rather large order in number if items, not in weight ($350+)***
I only received slightly more than half of my order. Upon looking at the package contents I can see that the packing slip got cut off and the part that was missing had the items I was missing from the order. So, pretty basic mistake, not a huge deal. HOWEVER, I tried to contact them through their website twice, no response. I emailed them directly at their customer service email three times, no response. I found their phone number and called them during business hours, no answer, but left message, no response. Finally, I tried to message them through their Instagram, which they check almost daily, no response. All of this took just over two weeks, so plenty of time to respond to a customer that spent over $350 in products.... I finally had to dispute the charges with my credit card, so now I am spending even more time to show proof of contact to the credit card company and waiting for a refund of the items I did not receive.
I was impressed with what I got from them though. Not one to be defeated I placed two more smaller orders that I knew would fit on a single packing slip... not one single problem on either of the subsequent orders. Good communication, shipping was quick, and product arrived properly packed. Discounts are easier to obtain from this website than others...much easier!!!
In the end it was everything BUT the customer service that was good about this company. The products they carry are really special and they do sell out of the good stuff because they do have a following, so it would seem that most are pleased with Yumz.
BOTTOM LINE: With Yumz, place small orders, utilize the readily available online coupon codes and $50 free shipping threshold and keep your fingers crossed.
